We understand that privacy and security are paramount to our clients and to their patients. Therefore, we maintain strict compliance to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules on privacy and security of protected health information. We have implemented appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to prevent the illegal acquisition and transfer of sensitive information outside the company’s production floor.

Security and Confidentiality

To protect the privacy and confidentiality of client information, network and data transfer security is ensured through a combination of stringent firewalls, protocols, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and username/password protection.

Numerous security measures and protocols are strictly enforced in the production facility to prevent any form of information from being copied and/or taken out.

The following are some key administrative, physical, and technical safeguards undertaken to ensure security and confidentiality of client information:

• We do not employ home based production personnel. All production personnel are in-house and process client information in our secure production area at all times. All personnel sign a confidentiality agreement which prohibits the disclosure of any form of client information.
  
  
• All disk and USB drives of workstations in the production area have been removed or disabled. All workstations are not capable of saving files into the local hard drive. Client information is stored only in our server room protected by an automated security lock with access only given to technical support staff and senior management.
  
  
• Client information in any format is never visible to visitors. Only authorized personnel are allowed access to the production area. Client information is never printed, faxed or photocopied.
  
  
• All forms of raw or processed client information are deleted from our servers after an agreed number of days.
  
  
• All workstations have preset internet access only to officially selected sites that are strictly for research or reference purposes only. All production personnel do not have access to email.
