After guidelines and specifications have been ironed out with the client, our indexing specialists review the documents, extract relevant information, and create accurate database records to facilitate efficient and rapid searching.
Depending on client specifications, index entries can be created in varying degrees of detail, ranging from basic document properties or bibliographic fields (e.g. document date, title, document type, author recipient) to priority ratings, keywords, relevant information, content outline and abstract. All database entries and their respective documents are reviewed and edited by quality assurance personnel before they are sent to the client.
We can work with various database platforms or export the database records to the specific database software used by the client. If necessary, we can also create a database patterned after client specifications.
